Ten years vs one month

Updated: Oct 8, 2023

Last Sunday, something that I have prayed fervently didn't get answered. It was going well until the critical answer was heard as "no". Actually, it had been going miraculously well, even if I was short in my faith to believe in God that He would answer my prayer. Because there was a miscommunication between God and me. He was answering my prayer, but I couldn't see it yet, while puzzeled, scratching my head. And suddenly I found that He answered my prayer! So, "they" came to church and were with us in the service, which was the first half of my prayer. Hallelujah! However, the other half of my prayer didn't get answered, because one of "them" said he should leave early. Unexpected... It was totally understandable reason, I said to myself. Timing always is subject to God's sovereignty. God's wisdom is better than anyone else's. I trust you Lord! Next day, in the morning prayer time, a voice came up to my mind. "You've been waiting for over ten years. for him to be saved. Can't you not wait another month?" Yes, Lord. Of course, Lord. you're right. It's only another month after all the waiting and prayers for 12 years. Yes, Lord. I can wait! Only if you would work in their minds, there wouldn't be anything thrilling more than this. I can surely wait, God. I kind of sense that God wants to have more people join in praying for this exciting project. We will all pray hard, and will witness how God will work. And I'm going to bring beatiful beautiful flowers for celebrating their salvation!
